SERVICE TO GOD
It is very important because otherwise we wouldn’t have a purpose, and God made us and we owe him at least that. A practical way we can do this in our daily life is by attending church, spreading the word to other people, and just being holy. Doing this can make you closer to God because it shows that you love and care about him.
RESPECT FOR SELF AND OTHERS
This is very important if you want to be treated with respect also. If you don’t treat other people with respect you usually won’t get much in return. A practical way we can do this in life is just by being a friendly person, greet people ask them how they are doing and respect them. Doing this is serving God, which will make you closer to him.
MUTUAL SUPPORT
This is important because some days people aren’t feeling there best, well then support them and make them feel better, without mutual support some days we might just feel down. Everyday you can tell a person good morning, or ask them how they have been doing, it just makes it a better environment. Doing this is something god wants us to do, which will bring us closer to god.
THE VALUE OF WORK
If we didn’t value work, we might not have any! When people do a good job it is always nice and rewarding to tell them so. We must value work and some of the hard labor people do. Doing this is a nice thing and God wants us to do nice things.
DEMONSTRATE MATURITY AND RESPONSIBILITY WITHIN THE COMMUNITY
Doing this is very important, especially if you are a leader, because it is vital that you set a good example to those who look up to you. Every day we can pick up trash that somebody has left on the ground, or hold open doors for people, those little things add up. Doing this shows God we know how to be a leader.
DEMONSTRATE HONESTY IN THEIR BEHAVIOR AND SPEECH
This is also very important, because if a role model or someone we look up to isn’t honest, that could lead us into not being honest. We need people to set good examples, and they can do that by being very honest and always acting nice. If we forget something, don’t wait until the last minute, instead be honest and ask for the forgotten item. Being honest shows God that we well um know how to be honest and that’s how it makes us closer.
RESPECT ALL PERSONS, INCLUDING PARENTS, TEACHERS, DEANS, FELLOW STUDENTS, THEMSELVES AND GOD
This kind of goes under the same guidelines as showing respect for yourself and others. It is just important because it is how we should act. We can do this everyday by asking them if they need help or just being very polite. Doing this will show God that you are very respectful and he will probably like that and that will make you closer to him.
DEMONSTRATE PROPER CARE OF PROPERTY: THEIR OWN, THE SCHOOL’S AND THEIR PEERS
This is very important also, if we didn’t take care of things we wouldn’t have any! We can do this by just leaving things alone and doing things the way we are supposed to do. Yes it’s that easy. Doing this is respectful and leads back to God probably liking that aspect about you.
