My Educational Philosophy

My educational philosophy has always been to produce well-rounded students who value education, hard work and achievement. The "Renaissance" student who strives for an excellent education, participates in athletics and appreciates the arts is the type of student I hope to inspire and develop. This "Renaissance" approach to education graduates young people who are confident, goal-oriented and successful.

I believe students thrive in an environment that is structured, where they know the boundaries and can concentrate on developing good habits and building their confidence. Individual attention for students on both the academic and personal fronts, will lead to academic success and personal growth.

Hobbies

Gardening, cooking, hiking, travel and Yankees baseball. He and his wife, Jill, have two children: Chris, a graduate of Auburn University, and Erin, a junior at Texas A&M University.
